Boulder County to receive $25M in federal stimulus funding for energy retrofits

Great news for Boulder's green building and energy efficiency economies -- not to mention homeowners! The White House has announced that Boulder County, in partnership with the City and County of Denver, Garfield County, the Governor’s Energy Office, Xcel Energy and others, will receive $25 million in federal stimulus grants (out of a pool of $452M in Recovery Act funding) through the Department of Energy’s Retrofit Ramp-Up Initiative.

Rather than re-type it all here, read the news release on Boulder County's website.
